The meeting was opened with a prayer from Frank. Then followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Attendance - 15 members.
The 50/50 drawing was held and there was no winner.

Frank led the business meeting.
Frank has received yard signs (from the Salvation Army) that show the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. He encouraged
anyone interested to take a sign and place it in their yard.
Flag Program - the last placement date is Labor Day, September 7th. Let Dennis know if you can help with placement or pickup.
Installation Dinner is September 22nd at Champions Country Club - 6 to 6:45 cocktails, 6:45 to 7:30 pm dinner, and then the
Installation Program. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Barb reported that she has completed the Backpack Program with the ordering of backpacks and school supplies for Sacred
Heart School. The items are scheduled for delivery this week.
Barb also reported that this week she will start the second phase of frozen meals for the Ronald McDonald House.
Dale reported that he has made contact with Sacred Heart and learned that the Second Grade Class has a new teacher and
the reading schedule will likely not start until October. He has asked for Friday afternoons.
Dale also reported on the Appreciation Dinner as a thanks for Kiwanis for their part in the Completely Kids Celebration of the 250
Year Anniversary of the United States.
Joann reported the following:
She has seven installations planned, at this time, with Division Clubs including West Omaha on September 22.
The Hamburg Club has a Parade scheduled for July 12 at 1 PM which is part of the Annual Popcorn Festival.
A Board Meeting is scheduled for August 24 at 6 PM at the Swanson Library at 90th & Dodge. All are welcome to attend.
